James Amakye
Education & Technology Network Advisor

James has been collaborating with Gomoa East District National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE), over the past couple of years to organize educational programs for girls in the Gomoa East District. Presently, he is the Guidance and Counseling Coordinator in Agona East District of Central Region in Ghana managing all schools from Kindergarten to Senior High School within that District.
 

James Amakye majored in guidance and counseling at the University of Education, Winneba. James has been an Educational Counselor since 2013. James provides advisement, instruction, and guidance for students in both Junior High and Senior High schools. His counseling work does not end at the student's level but also extends to the parents of these students and the teachers who serve this community of learners.
 

In technology, James stands above his mates in earning the Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He has had several attachments with Ghana Telecommunication and Electricity Company of Ghana and has worked with some other private electrical companies that do work in the country.
 

James has worked with the National Identification Authority (NIA) as an MRW Operator. He has worked in 7 of 10 Regions in Ghana when working with NIA. James also has a certificate in Project Management.
 

James attended Teacher Training College and previously taught for fifteen years after his graduation. He has taught and trained people who are now holding enviable positions in the country.
 

Aside from his trained field, James has been a Field Officer for Ghana Statistical Service during the 2000 and 2010 Population and Housing Census. He has worked with the Electoral Commission of Ghana as Presiding Member in Presidential, Parliamentary, and Assembly level elections since 2000. James is a team player and brings his rich experience on board to assist the  AMX organization to aid Ghanaian girls. His professional work opens the way for A Matter of Xpression for networking throughout the nation of Ghana. We welcome his expertise and professionalism.
 

James is a family man with two boys and one girl.
